EasySplit iOS App

EZ Split is a tip splitting app developed for iOS and recently submitted to the Apple Store. This app was developed for a fast 3 step user flow for splitting the bill, including taxes, and with the options for variable pay amounts incase someone came late, or didnt order drinks etc. 

Design Process

Research

To begin I did a competitive analysis of existing apps on the marketplace and listed the Pros and Cons.

User Flow

For this app, it was important to get to the final step as seamlessly as possible, as additional options were not as important as ease of use.

Wireframing

Balsamiq was perfect for this fast paced wireframe, as it allowed for medium fidelity mockups quickly.

This was a weekend project to create a bill splitting app for iOS that makes the process easy and simple for any type of persona.

Easysplit app for iOS 

This project was done using Photoshop, Sketch, Balsamiq, and Ominigraffle. I was given the project on Friday for the entry exam to the GA Immersive program, and showed the presentation on Monday. Despite the fast timeframe, I was able to show many elements of the UX design process, and I am working with a programmer to publish it.
